Beanz

Pianist and vocalist for the band.

She has been playing piano all her life and loves to preform. Beanz predominantly plays the viola but still has a life long passion for piano. Currently a junior at Downers Grove South High School, she loves to run and play volleyball and ultimate Frisbee with her favorite orchestra "orch-dorks". With a blend of German & Czech heritage, you have Beanz. And yes, she does speak German.
Why is her name Beanz?
This goes back all the way to 7th grade for her personally, but has been a family nickname for many generations. Beanz' last name looks somewhat similar to Beans (to her it shows little resemblance) and most times when people try pronouncing her last name, it comes out as Beans. In 7th grade the nickname started applying to her life and now to this day is more commonly known as just Beanz.

Bobby

Bassist and Vocalist for the band.

Bobby was never really interested in music when he was younger. One day on the way to a football game he heard an amazing song on the car radio. His mom promptly suggested that he request the CD for his birthday. He got it, and then his interest in music never stopped growing. He played trumpet for a short time around 4th grade, but he soon gave it up. As a joke he joined choir in 8th grade, but he has abandoned the joke, continuing on with choir ever since. His true love is singing.

He got his bass at the ripe old age of 14 because he wanted to join a band, and no one believed that he was a good enough singer.

He has decided to follow the rest of the band and state his ethnicity. He is English, Irish, Spanish, German, Dutch, Swedish, and Swiss. That's all. As far as he knows.

Daniel Wilberforce Field

Guitarist and Vocalist for the band.

Daniel spent a lot of his life surrounded by music.  Having played violin for a majority of his life, he easily gained a taste and respect for classical music.

Though he continues to love classical music, he tends to lean toward alternative rock, punk rock, hard rock, power pop, and metal core.  His musical preferences tend to vary significantly.

Dan spends his free time doing whatever he feels like at the moment, whether it be drawing, reading, listening to music, making music, or any number of arbitrary and engaging activities.

Near the end of his sophomore year, Dan picked up his brother's acoustic and began to goof around with it.  The next day, he could play three and a half songs.  He borrowed a guitar from Beanz and thus began his love of guitar.

Now he switches off between the guitars of his friends, though he would very much like one of his own.  Suggestions of what he should get?  Feel free to comment and tell him.

If, for some reason, you wanted to know, Daniel's ancestors came from Sweden, Britain, British Canada, and South Korea.

Oh, and we kid you not, that's his real middle name.

Emily

Five string violinist for the band.  It's intense.

She just bought it in July of '08, and is working on transitioning from the tradition 4-string instrument she is more accustomed to.

Emily started her musical career at the tender age of 5 on violin. She quit 3 years later and sampled a wide array of other instruments, including piano, flute, french horn, recorder, and viola. She even sang in a choir for 3 years, but that was a bad idea.

In the rare moments Emily has free, she spends her time reading, listening to/playing music, playing ultimate frisbee, hanging with friends, or otherwise being unproductive.

Despite being primarily German and Lithuanian with Russian, English, Irish, Scottish and Dutch influences, Emily was born in Cuba and speaks with a Canadian accent.
